We're proud to share that Standard Meat Company's innovative approach to employee wellness is featured in the January 2025 issue of Meatingplace magazine.
The article highlights our on-site chiropractic program, which embodies our philosophy of "treating the body before the injury" by making chiropractors available to our 1,100 employees during breaks and before and after shifts. Since implementing the program, we've seen OSHA recordable incidents steadily decline, with chiropractors treating approximately 50 employees each week.
The results speak to our commitment that doing right by our people isn't just good ethics—it's smart business. When our team members thrive physically and feel genuinely respected, everyone benefits through improved safety, higher quality work, and a stronger workplace culture.
